Funningur Village
Funningur Village, Eysturoy. Grass for the sheep drying on the racks. Sounds of church music on Sunday, a lovely spot.
Gjogv Village
Gjogv Village, a popular destination, it's a wonderful drive to this location. I had very good crepes and coffee at the small stand near the start of the walk to this view. August 2021.
Vidareidi Village
Vidareidi Village, Vidoy Island has a spectacular setting. Best approached with this view, from the tunnel exit and you can return along the coast road facing Bordoy Is. for a complete loop back to the tunnel entrance.

Walking up the hill from Vidareidi Village, has these greats views. There is a voluntary fee 200DK ( too much?) to walk through the gate.

Mikladalur, Kslsoy Island
The Mikladalur, Seal Woman statue is lovely. The get to Mikladalur, you take a ferry from Klaksvík to Syðradalur, around 20 minutes. The drive is then about another 30minutes.

Kallur Lighthouse Hike, Kslsoy Island
In the distance at the end of this ridge path you can faintly see the Caller lighthouse. It's a great , not difficult, 2 mile hike up the hill from the village farm below. The path can be slippery.
