Tokyo Harajuku Girls

Girls at Harajuku Station on a Sunday afternoon are world famous for their wild fashions and dress. They are not to be missed during a visit to Tokyo. The area around Harajuku is also a very trendy fashion shopping area. Also close by is the Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park. All worthy and will occupy your Sunday.

Harajuku Station is on the Yamanote Line in Shibuya.
Harajuka Station bridge. The entrace to Meiji Shrine is across here to the right, to the left takes you to Yoyogi Park. Yoyogi Park has some interesting history; the site of the first successful powered aircraft flight in Japan, on December 19, 1910, during the postwar occupation, it was the site of the Washington Heights residence for U.S. officers. Later the site for the 1964 Summer Olympics.
