Tokyo Meiji Jinju Shrine, Shichi-Go-San season in Nov each year
In Japan there are some special days in a young boy or girl’s life. During during Shichi-Go-San season, around the 15th of Nov each year; the 7-5-3. you pronounce it as Shichigosan. For girls at the year to be or became 3 years old and 7 years old, they go a shrine and thank for the growth and pray for the future. This festival is about 900 years old. Young boys go when they are 5 years of age. It’s a wonderful time to visit local shrines in Japan and especially so the Meiji Shrine in Shibuya, Tokyo, to see the families together and their young children is beautiful costumes.
